Nutmeg Book Award
The Nutmeg Book Award is a state wide program that encourages children in
Grades 4-8 to read quality literature. Each year, librarians nominate ten titles of notable fiction with high appeal for readers in grades 4-6. Students all across Connecticut will vote in January for their favorite book.
Casimir Pulaski students in 4th and 5th grades are once again participating in this program. They must read at least two books to be able to vote. Many have set their goal to read all ten. All ten titles are Accelerated Reader books so the students are also able to take the AR quizzes.
